Invoice OCR and data extraction — Content Factory

An invoice is a table pretending to be a document. Every supplier lays it out differently, line items wrap across pages, tax is sometimes per line and sometimes at the foot, and a single misread digit in a quantity column is worse than no data at all. We extract line by line, add the columns back up against the printed total, and send anything that does not reconcile to a human instead of your ledger.

Which fields do you capture?

Supplier, invoice number and date, PO reference, each line item with description, quantity, rate and amount, tax breakup, and the document total.

How do you catch misreads in numbers?

Line items are summed and compared against the printed total. A mismatch stops the record and a person looks at the page, so arithmetic catches what character recognition misses.

Can you deliver straight into our accounting system?

We deliver the import file your system takes, commonly CSV, Excel, XML or JSON mapped to your field names. We do not claim an integration or an API we have not built.

What about invoices in other languages?

Invoices in the fifteen languages our team reads natively are handled directly, including Arabic and the Indian scripts, with the figures verified against the original.
