01 · The studio

Textbook writing, ghostwriting, translation and pitch decks — press-ready from one Chennai studio.

Content Factory is an agency in Chennai, headed by Hema, in its fifteenth year. We write textbooks and coaching material to syllabus, ghostwrite books and carry them through print and Kindle, build investor decks and company profiles, draw mechanical and interior sheets to standard, and translate and subtitle in a hundred-plus languages. One team, one schedule, one invoice — for publishers, institutions and founders in seven countries.

03 · Project builder

Say what you are setting up and we will list what it needs

Most projects need six or seven things done in a particular order. Describe yours in a few words and the relevant divisions appear, in the order we would run them.

04 · What are you building?

Start from what you do, not from our service list

Eight kinds of client commission most of our work. Pick the one that describes you and the relevant divisions open together.

Corrections are logged against the draft, not argued over on a call.

50%Advance, balance on delivery

Long books are staged by chapter block so neither side carries the whole risk.

08 · Inside the agency

One partner instead of five freelancers

A writer, a translator, a designer and a typesetter on the same project, in the same building, on one schedule. Nothing is handed between agencies and nothing is lost in the handover — which is why a textbook can ship in three languages with the same page numbers.

Inside the studio in Chennai

Work is produced under NDA, so most of it carries the client’s name rather than ours — which is why this page shows the studio rather than a wall of logos. Publishers, institutions and founders in India, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, the UAE and Japan commission from these desks. References are available on request.

What our clients say

Published with permission

In their own words, unedited. Much of what we produce is ghostwritten or published under the client’s own imprint, so this is a partial list — we can introduce you to a comparable client on request.

What we commit to in writing

Every project, every client

Client references are available on request. Most of our work is ghostwritten, confidential or published under the client’s own imprint, so we introduce you to a comparable client directly rather than publishing quotations here.

A fixed written quote

Scope, figure and delivery date agreed in writing before work begins. Nothing is added to the invoice afterwards.

Structure approved first

You sign off the chapter architecture, slide order or sheet list before anyone writes, designs or draws.

Two revision rounds included

In the price on every service. Corrections are logged against the draft rather than argued on a call.

Full ownership on payment

Copyright transfer, editable sources and press-ready files. Ghostwritten work carries no studio credit.

NDA before anything is sent

Signed at the outset, covering your material, your identity and the fact of the engagement.

One person owns the date

A single project lead who knows your file and answers on WhatsApp, rather than a shared inbox.

Ask for a reference Send a brief
11 · Why clients stay

The five things every client asks before signing

Will I see it before I pay?

You approve the structure, then a sample chapter or slide, before the bulk of the work begins.

Who owns the work?

You do. Full copyright transfer, editable sources and press files on final payment.

Is my material confidential?

An NDA is signed before anything is sent. Ghostwriting carries no studio credit unless you ask for one.

Will it be late?

Chapters and sections arrive as they finish, on the dates agreed in the scope, so slippage shows early.

Will the price move?

The quote is fixed in writing before work starts. Nothing is billed that was not agreed first.

Tell us what you need made

The more of this you fill in, the closer the first figure will be. Nothing below is compulsory except your name and email — we reply with a written scope, a fixed price and a date, usually within one working day. WhatsApp is fastest.
