Typical turnaround 3 to 6 weeks for a picture book, 6 to 10 weeks for a chapter book. Send the syllabus or the existing title and Content Factory replies with a fixed price, usually within one working day.

Age band and reading level set first

Word count, sentence length and vocabulary controlled to the band you specify — pre-primary, early reader, chapter book or graded reader. Getting this wrong is the commonest reason a manuscript is rejected.

Spread-by-spread illustration brief

Fourteen spreads for a 32-page picture book, each with a brief for the illustrator. The text and the picture have to carry different parts of the story, not repeat each other.

Read-aloud tested

Children’s books are read aloud by adults. Rhythm, repetition and the line that a parent reads twenty times all matter, and they are only testable by reading it out.

Vocabulary list delivered

A controlled word list with the manuscript, so a teacher or parent can see the reading demand and a series can stay consistent across titles.

Content Factory prices per commission on the extent, the subject and the number of language editions. Send the syllabus or the existing title and you will have a fixed figure in writing, usually within one working day.

How long does it take?

3 to 6 weeks for a picture book, 6 to 10 weeks for a chapter book. Two revision rounds are included, and the price is fixed before work starts.

Can this be commissioned on its own?

Yes. You do not need to have commissioned the main title from us. Many publishers write the textbook in house and bring this piece to Content Factory separately.

Will it carry your name?

No. Content Factory works as an invisible supplier. An NDA is signed before you send anything, nothing carries our name, and copyright transfers to you entirely on final payment.

Which languages?

Any of a hundred and fifty, written as originals by native writers rather than machine translated, with matched pagination across editions.

How much does textbook writing services cost?

Prices are fixed in writing before work begins. Scope, language count and turnaround move the figure; volume across a programme brings it down. Send the brief and you have a number within a working day.

How long does it take?

Most single deliverables run three to fourteen weeks depending on length and complexity. Programmes are staged so early parts reach you while later parts are still in production. You get a date with the quote.

Who does the work?

A specialist from our school & college course books team, with an editor and a production person on the same project. Everyone is bound by the same confidentiality terms.

Do I own the result?

Yes. Full copyright transfer, editable sources and production-ready files on final payment. Nothing is resold or reused.

Can it be produced in other languages?

Yes — any of a hundred-plus languages, typeset in the same studio so layout and page numbers match across editions.

Do you work with clients outside India?

Yes. Publishers, institutions and founders in the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Australia and Japan. Work is delivered by email and shared drive and quoted in US dollars.
