Arabic archives are among the least digitised collections in the world, and the reason is technical: historical typefaces, calligraphic hands, faded ink and damaged paper defeat standard OCR. Content Factory digitises Arabic manuscripts, old books, newspapers and institutional records as a managed project — recognition where the print allows it, native-reader transcription where it does not, and metadata so the result can be searched and catalogued.

Every price below includes human verification by a native Arabic reader. The final per-page figure is fixed in writing after your free ten-page sample, because print quality and handwriting change the effort. Volume above 10,000 pages is priced lower.

A per-page figure fixed in writing, based on what the sample showed — print quality, handwriting, tables, diacritics.

Pages are cleaned, deskewed and run through Arabic-trained recognition, with right-to-left reading order and mixed Arabic-English lines handled.
4 · Human verification
Native Arabic readers check every page against the image — the step that separates usable text from raw OCR output.

Native Arabic readers
Machine OCR on Arabic still confuses dotted letters, joined forms and diacritics. Every page Content Factory delivers has been read by a person who reads Arabic natively.

We advise on scanning resolution and handling, and work from your scans. For fragile material, scanning is best done on site by the holding institution.
Can you read calligraphic and historical script?
Yes, with readers who work in those styles. Send samples to confirm before quoting.
