Within a single role, the bullets should not be chronological. The most relevant evidence for the job you are applying to goes first, whichever year it happened in.

This is the change that most improves a long resume, and almost nobody does it unprompted.

Three bullets per role, four at most

A role with nine bullets has none that stand out. Choosing three forces the decision about what actually mattered, which is the work the reader was going to do anyway — better done by you.

What must never be cut

Scale figures, the numbers behind outcomes, licences and registrations, and anything a recruiter searches on. Compression means fewer claims, each better evidenced, not the same claims with the evidence removed.
